One of the units from the third year called 'Personal Project' required us, as students to pick an area of costume production that we wanted to focus on. As my love for costume lies heavily in the design sector I decided that I would focus on character analysis and produce a design that could communicate a story, as well as being fit for purpose!

I chose Queen Elizabeth II and for the production I picked Netflix's 'The Crown' as inspiration! I really enjoyed the challenges this project presented me with including a lot of artistic/ textile work like hand painting to bring the vision to life!
